One

No one knows when the end of the world is. No astronomer, no scientist, no shaman can determine when we will end. Only god knows

Lloyd is a young boy, Brazilian by heritage but raised Chinese. Lloyd was found in front of Daima Temple in Beijing, China, by a man named Tai-lung. Tai lung took this strange boy in as one of his own, seeing it as a sign from Buddha. Lloyd is currently 14, and fifth place in his class. He has learned many martial arts quite easily, but he has yet to master an elemental. There are four basic elementals, Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind. Fire and Water was banned from the temple due to their lethallity. Lloyd always wondered why but he never questioned Tai-lungs decisions.

Lloyd had to learn one of the four to make it to senior monk. He chose earth, he loved the very feel of sand on his feet. He loved to wiggle his toes on the wet beach rocks. The sub class he learned was the class of the "Earth Slash". He was well on his way to learning how to bend the earth like clay, weither it was stone or sand, to his will.

Lloyd never thought the world so simple. He never thought the world controled by four disciplines. Every sunday he would study in the library, so this sunday he decided to study different disciplines. He pulled out a torso sized book labeled 'Arts of Element' The book was as wide as his shoulders, and weighed as much as he did. The book made a large thunk when it hit the maple wood table. The first three hundred pages were about fire and water. Controllers of fire could ignite the very air in a mans lungs and make him breathe fire, or make him combust like furnace from within. Controllers of water could make the rain come, and make plants move, and suck every drop out of the human body.
